Connecting to People
Col 2:18-19
The faculty of vision is in the head: Jesus is in our vision & getting us connected back to God
This is also our tasks now!
Matt 9:37
Do not depend on the sinners to change before they come to God, but depend on us! Our attitude towards them, our interests in their life is what will change them! Jesus asked us to pray for the laborers not the harvest!?!
Gal 4:9
No matter how much rejections or disappointment
Jh 4:35
3 areas that we need to lift up our eyes form
1. We need to lift up our eyes from our ourselves
Jh 7:38
Don't keep focusing only on ourselves
2.We need to lift up our eyes from being cast down
Meditate on the beautiful
3. We need to lift up our eyes in the way we look at people
Look at people thru the "harvest eyes"
Be a witness!
Give an account of Jesus' ministry!
Jh 1:35-42; 43-45
Acts 1:8
1.God has called you to be a witness
Stick out your New York ü
2. God's power is available
3. You need to step up in faith!
Eph 4:12-16
The parts must be prepared for our head's (Jesus) works!
It's not about the five-fold ministry anymore! These departments have been restored since 1950s! It's about the ministry of the Saints! The world is not going to benefit from the 1% of the 2billion Christians who are in full-time ministry, the world will benefit from the ordinary Christians, like us, who will touch our friends.
